My name is Tim , owner of Tone of Music Audio, I have  loved music as early as I could remember. As a teen, I fell in love with the whole aspect of high quality sound reproduction in the home. I started to buy and modify every piece of vintage hifi gear I could get my hands on. This led to my first job working at an engineering firm building  laboratory equipment . There I had access to all the tools a young boy could dream of to tinker and do interesting projects. This led to building many  pairs of custom high end loudspeakers  for myself then for friends and clients. I have used  drivers from Dynaudio, Focal, Audax, Accuton, Vifa and others.  I will not tell you how many moons ago that was, but for veteran audiophiles, it was before Dynaudio started manufacturing their own  speakers.

 I enjoy listening to all types of music: from jazz to rock, folk, pop, classical, foreign and world music. I have been collecting music for as long as I can remember and my library includes an extensive collection of Bluenote, Riverside, Prestige, New Jazz, Candid and other label first pressings  from the golden age of music.
