My Name is Tim , owner of Tone of Music Audio, welcome to our site. I grew up in San Francisco and have lived  here  for over twenty five years. I have  loved music as early as I could remember. As a teen, I built my first pair of custom high end loudspeakers  for clients, while working at an engineering firm using  drivers from Dynaudio then Focal units, Audax , Accuton and Vifa. I will not tell you how many moons ago that was, but for veteran audiophiles, it was before Dynaudio started manufacturing their own  speakers.

I enjoy listening to all types of music: from jazz to rock, folk, pop, classical, foreign and world music. I have been collecting music for as long as I can remember and my library include many first pressing vintage jazz records from the golden age of music.

Tone Of Music Audio is born out of my passion to serve  music lovers.  I have been engaged in this wonderful hobby for over twenty  years. At our shop, you will find a friendly environment to audition  exceptional components and electronics.
